The core of the name ‘Snowman Branding’ lies in the variety of emotions that we identify with a snowman and the process of creating one – excitement, fun, thrill, caution etc. Every snowman ever made is a result of its creators’ inspiration to give shape to their imagination. And so are successful brands – product of someone’s vision to create a difference!
What is a brand? There are many definitions of this term and many more interpretations too. We believe that your brand is something that defines the overall experience of interacting with your business/products/services – be it for your customers, collaborators or employees. It is linked to the core purpose of your company’s existence and the difference you make in this world.
There are multiple media/forms of brand interaction and interpretation, often called the ‘brand experience’. However, the most common trap that people fall into while thinking about branding is the extremely lopsided importance given to visual elements. The colours of your logo or the logo itself (and other visual brand elements) have a very limited contribution to your brand, when compared to the way you position yourself as a business, the values that you stand for, the tone of your communication, the way your employees interact with customers and the personality that your products embody.
At Snowman Branding, we believe that branding is the only effective and sustainable way for growing a business in the 21st century. In this age when technology has impacted almost every other business, made customers extremely powerful and overthrown price competitiveness as the single biggest selling factor, it is important to create your own space as a business/product with those customers who share your values and beliefs. This holds true for the style and cool factor of Apple products to the social consciousness of Fairtrade customers.
We wish to help companies realise the potential of creating a brand out of their products and also help them do so successfully. By doing so, a loyalty is built with customers over time and positive relation is nurtured that turns happy customers into brand advocates who then do the marketing for you! Believe it or not, thanks to the ease of content sharing on social media, your customers are more powerful marketers for your products than your specialist team, and are more likely to bring in new business too. It is this power of a brand that we wish to help businesses tap into and hence we exist as a company.
Six months into operations, we have worked with some really supportive people who have helped us evolve over the time as a company as well as individuals.
